Honoring the Heroes of Our Nation: Memorial Day in Twinsburg
Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start to summer. It's a sacred day of remembrance—a time to reflect on the extraordinary courage and ultimate sacrifice of the brave men and women who served our country in uniform. These heroes gave everything so that we could live in freedom, and their service continues to inspire us all.
In Twinsburg, we come together each year to honor their memory in a meaningful way. I invite you and your family to join our community on Monday, May 26, 2025, as we pause to pay tribute during the Twinsburg Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony.
🕊️ Parade Details
Parade formation: Begins at 9:45 AM at Twinsburg High School (10084 Ravenna Road)
Step off: 10:30 AM — traveling south on Ravenna Road to Church Street
Memorial service: Held in front of the First Congregational Church on the square following the parade
✈️ Special note: We’re honored to have a C-130 aircraft flyover from the 910th Air Wing out of Youngstown, Ohio, as part of the tribute
A heartfelt thank you to Twinsburg VFW Post 4929 and especially Commander Joe Jasany, whose leadership and stewardship of our local Veterans Museum keeps the stories of our service members alive for future generations. Their dedication to ensuring that “Lest We Not Forget” remains more than words is deeply appreciated.
As we walk through downtown or gather at the square, let's remember that Memorial Day is not just a moment—it’s a call to carry forward the values of service, duty, and sacrifice in our own lives.
Thank you to all who serve and have served—and especially to those families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty. Your sacrifice is remembered and honored.
See you at the parade,
