About Shaun

Personal

My wife, Breanne, and I chose Twinsburg as the place to raise our three children after relocating to Ohio to be closer to family. Twinsburg’s unique setting—situated between Akron and Cleveland—offers everything a family could want: outstanding city services, beautiful parks and hiking trails, a state-of-the-art rec center and waterpark, community events like Rock the Park and Twins Day, and a strong healthcare and business hub. Twinsburg is truly “Naturally Beautiful,” and we are proud to call it home.

Professional

I hold a bachelor’s degree in business marketing and communications from Palm Beach Atlantic University. My career began with Related Companies, where I worked in the marketing division on CityPlace, 55-acre mixed-use development in the heart of West Palm Beach. I spent 16 years at Tribune Company in the corporate relations office, overseeing two divisions, the Orlando Sentinel and the South Florida Sun Sentinel. Now, I am a full-time Realtor, where I was honored to earn the coveted Rookie of the Year award from Howard Hanna. My professional background has been built on connecting people, fostering relationships, and solving complex problems.

Volunteer and Community Engagement

From a young age, I have been passionate about community engagement. My volunteer work spans the communities where I’ve lived, beginning with beautification projects in my home county of Sullivan County, New York, to serving on several boards in West Palm Beach, including the West Palm Beach Historic Parks Commission, the Mandel Public Library Board of Directors, and SunFest Board of Directors (Florida’s largest water, art, and music festival).

Here in Twinsburg, I currently serve as the Parks and Recreation Commission Vice Chairman and have had the privilege of serving as Chairman of the Charter Review Commission, leading efforts to update the City Charter with several key changes. I am actively involved with the Akron Cleveland Association of Realtors, serving on committees like the Membership and Affiliates Council, and I serve on the Board of the Hudson Farmers Market, which attracts many Twinsburg residents.

Why I’m Running for Twinsburg City Council

With a proven ability to connect with people, foster collaboration, and solve challenges, I am committed to driving economic development, supporting families, and enhancing the quality of life for all residents. I believe my business acumen and community focus position me to represent our city effectively and thoughtfully.
