As I reflect on Thanksgiving Day 2025, my heart is full.

This year has been meaningful in ways I couldn’t have imagined and today feels like the perfect moment to pause, appreciate, and say thank you.

I’m thankful for my family walk this journey with me and remind me daily why service matters. Their support means everything, and the joy of watching our kids grow up in this community continues to be one of my greatest blessings.

I’m thankful for the people of Twinsburg. For the neighbors who opened their doors. For the countless conversations on porches, at schools, at community events, and in the grocery store aisles. For the stories shared, the concerns expressed, and the hope for our future that so many voiced with sincerity and pride.

I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve — an honor I do not take lightly.

In the past few weeks, I’ve met with city leadership, fellow council members, and residents who have already reached out with ideas and questions. These conversations reinforce just how much people care about our city’s future. And I’m ready to get to work.

I’m thankful for our city staff — the people who keep Twinsburg moving forward day after day. Whether maintaining our roads during a winter storm, parks, protecting our neighborhoods and organizing community events- their dedication is a cornerstone of our quality of life.

Finally, I’m thankful for community — the shared belief that together, we can build something stronger than any one of us could do alone. Whether it’s showing up for a parade, cheering at Rock the Park, supporting a local nonprofit, or helping a neighbor — this is who we are.

Happy Thanksgiving, Twinsburg.
